Bukit Kubu Amenity Forest was constituted in year 1992 and are situated in Forest reserve proposal Bukit Papan which possess area of 183.70 hectares. Untill now, Bukit Kubu Amenity Forest area that was developed for visitor facility is as wide as 12 hectares

Bukit Kubu Amenity Forest uniqueness is its limestone hill with height between 150 to 200 metres from sea level and few natural cave such as Gua Ikan and Gua Harimau. The entry point of the cave are surrounded by a very large natural pool.

The plant here is the partial forest type and surrounded by paddy field. In the rear section of the Bukit Kubu Amenity Forest is a lake known as Tasek Putri Kayang as wide as 2 hectares. This amenity forest area have become a one stop location for recreation and also suitable to carry out cave exploration activities.  

There are several facilities that had been provided for visitor such as sight seeing tower, toilet, children playground, interpretation track and vehicle parking area. The Bukit Kubu Amenity Forest  distance from Kuala Perlis town is 1 kilometres and nearby is Kuala Perlis Jetty for torurist who would like to go to Langkawi. Tourist can use own transport or public transport to reach here.
